Los Bitchos – El Pençe (feat. Kit Sebastian)

How dramatic can a song about being controlled get? Plenty, going by “El Pençe”, where London duo Kit Sebastian sing in Turkish over distorted electric guitars, Eastern melody and the microtonal bends of traditional Turkish music. Serra Petale, whose mother is Turkish, hears it as the classic Turkish pairing: a soft, rich voice singing about the hand that holds you down. The band call it their Turkish disco dream come true.

Fourth preview of Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1, out November 13 on GREAT! Records with !K7 Music, after Holding Cell (W35) and Hang Up (Pt 2) (W31). Of all the guest spots so far, the one that sounds most like it was always part of the band.
